Tesla Powerwall Battery Storage: Fully Installed from £4875
Wessex ECOEnergy is proud to announce that we have become a certified installer for Tesla Powerwall storage batteries covering Dorset and the South West UK.
What is the Tesla Powerwall Battery?
Powerwall is a home battery that charges using electricity generated from solar panels, or when utility rates are low, and powers your home in the evening. Powerwall is a game changer and maximises your self-consumption of your free energy. No longer are you exporting all your unused electricity to the grid during the day, now you are storing to use it when you get home! Freedom from large bills to the big six energy companies is a good thing.
What does it offer?
- Solar electricity at night
- Go net zero
- Emergency back-up in case of power outage
- Additional Carbon Dioxide reduction
What capacity does it have?
Each Powerwall has a 6.4kWh (kilowatt hour) energy storage capacity, sufficient to power most homes during the evening using electricity generated during the day. Batteries can be linked together for homes with a larger demand.
How many kWh do I need?
Every home is different but on average a 3 bed home in the UK will consume about 4,600kWh per year or 12kWh per day/6 per night. With LED and low energy appliances, this is likely to reduce further.
Why should I buy one?
If you have solar panels on your home or business you are not maximising their performance in any way. The majority of the energy is being exported back to the grid and used by your neighbours. The next stage of energy independence is storing your own energy and enjoying light and heat even when there is a power outage. If keeping the lights on is important to you, you need a storage battery.
What is the warranty?
Each install has a 10-year warranty.
How do I get one?
